
Like any premium establishment, we require a few rules from our guests and we would hope that as a family we all abide by this small list that is set before you. If there is any question about any of the latter, make sure to ask one of the lab assistants and they will best accommodate your inquisition.
-You must be a currently enrolled UCF student with a valid UCF ID to use the
lab
-A limit of 20 double-sided pages (40 sides) can be printed per student, per
day
-Please have your cell phones turned to vibrate or off
-Please take phone conversations outside for the consideration of others
-No food or drink in the lab
SGA Computer Lab Guidelines
- No eating is allowed in the SGA Computer Lab. Drinks are ok if they have a lid.
- All cell phone calls which are longer than a minute will need to be taken outside or completed. Please keep your voice down while on your cell phone so as not to disturb others.
- Since we are not the library, it is ok to talk but try to keep conversations relatively quiet or you may be asked to leave, this is to ensure that other customers have a constructive work environment.
- If people are waiting to use a computer, you may only use your laptop for a short period of time (less than five minutes). If you are found to not be using one of the lab's computers and there are people waiting for a computer, you will be asked to leave.
- If you are found to be using a computer for non-school related activities and there are people waiting for a computer, you will be asked to leave.
- If you are found to be conversing with someone else or not at your computer for a long period of time, and there are people waiting for a computer, you will be asked to leave.
- There is a 20 page (40 side) printing limit per day, please abide by this. In the event of constant overprinting, you may be asked to leave the lab.
- Please take the pages from the printer that you printed out. If you no longer have use for the pages, please place them in one of the nearby recycle bins.
- You are allowed to sign-in with your PID up to two times per semester. After this, if you do not use your UCF Id you will be denied access to the computer lab.
- Only use YOUR UCF Id and yours alone.
- Quick-Use stations are 10 minutes of use, please abide by this so more people can utilize the stations and so we can reduce waiting times.
